A new garage door changes your home's curb appeal and insulation value — 5 Star Garage Door Service helps Astoria, OR homeowners choose material and style before installing it right.
5 Star Garage Door Service trains Astoria, OR technicians on this exact service line so you're not the one teaching them on the job.
We'd rather send one truck that's actually equipped for garage door installation than three that aren't, even if it means a slightly longer wait on a rare occasion.
Track and hardware get sized to the specific door model and opening.
Steel, wood, aluminum, and glass doors each carry different tradeoffs — we walk through them honestly.
Most installs complete in a single visit, including old door removal and full testing.
If an installation issue surfaces, it's covered.
The most common choice for durability and value — we install single and double-layer steel doors with insulation options.
Real wood and composite carriage doors add distinct curb appeal — carriage-style hardware gets installed to match the aesthetic, not just the panel.
Lightweight aluminum frames with glass panels suit modern architectural styles — natural light is the main draw homeowners cite for this option.
Upgrading to an insulated door improves temperature control — it's especially worthwhile if living space shares a wall with the garage.
Older homes sometimes have openings that don't match standard sizes — we measure twice before ordering custom material.
